Coming up in November – protecting the coral reefs with the Antigua Open Lionfish tournament. Lionfish are highly invasive and can be incredibly destructive to coral reefs. So removing them from the waters is a positive contribution to the health of the reef. However this event is about more than just a day of Lionfish hunting. This is about the bigger picture of the need for marine conservation and education to be taught to all in Antigua and Barbuda so that people can understand the fragile ecosystem
