Sight Seeing
Just a few minutes drive away is the historic UNESCO world heritage site, Nelsons Dockyard. This provides a fascinating insight into navel life during the 18th Century. Also it is now a very active harbour and centre for Caribbean sailing. Betty’s Hope is about 15 minutes drive, and this gives a perspective of colonial life during the 17th and 18th centuries when Antigua was under colonial rule. The capital, St. Johns is about a 30-40 minute drive away, where more museums, shopping and other activities are available.
Adventure
Antigua is full of adventure potential. How about horse riding bareback in the sea? Or zip-lining through the rainforest? Have you ever tried kite surfing? All of these are available and more….

A cold beer or cocktail is never too far away in Antigua. There are many bars in the dockysard area. All offer friendly service, cold beer, local rum and more.

Whether it is takinga relaxing island cruise on a catamaran, or doing something more physical such as stand up paddleboarding, kite-surfing or kayaking it is all available (please note that the best kite surfing is in the north of the island). There are alos a number of PADI certified dive schools based. inthe dockyard area.
